The 3 Week Diet is a weight loss concept that claims that you can shed as much as 23lbs in as little as 21 days. When I first heard about it, I really thought that it is a sham since I never heard something that works in that short time, not to mention that it is normally unsafe to lose that amount of weight in a limited time. This diet program incorporates three types of diets which are combined to introduce a revolutionary routine.

The Pros and Cons of the 3 Week Diet Program

True to my expectation, this diet plan is more on the extreme side. Carrying out the initial phase was never easy, I normally felt drained and lacking of energy. However, since it is just a three-week diet program, I decided to finish it and found out that the last two weeks are less overwhelming. Here are some of the benefits that I realised when I followed the program.

 

Pros

  • It works! – Based on my own experience, it really works. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to lose a total of 23lbs. This is probably due to the fact that my workout is not that intense and I sometimes cheat. The low-carb diet has also been effective to my weight loss journey.
  • Perfect for People Who Are Overweight- compared to the other workout and diet routine that are only apt for the people who are close to their ideal weight, The 3 Week Diet is ideal for the obese people. If you have the will power to finish this program, you will instantly see results after a few days.
  • The Exercise and Diet Guide is Comprehensive- I have not seen a diet and exercise guide that is as organised and comprehensive as The 3 Week Diet program. The author even mentioned some scientific studies and clinical researches that will support the efficacy of this program.
  • An Improved Appearance- Aside from losing weight, I also noticed that my skin is a lot clearer now. I can now wear better clothes and I get more attention from others. This has ultimately boosted my self confidence.

Cons

  • This is not ideal for people who are currently taking medicine or those who have specific health condition. It is also not designed for the vegans who have an issue with detoxification process unless they are willing to eat eggs.

The 3 Week Diet Program is an easy-to-follow and simple-to understand guide that you can perform at the comfort of your home. In addition, it does not take an extensive period in order to get the result that you want. The first days will be a struggle but once your body starts to adapt to these changes, the succeeding weeks will be easy. This diet program is like a complete system that you can follow. Some guides will focus only on your workout and others will tackle on the diet program, but this is a combination of both workout and diet plan.
